STEM4GOOD
STEM educational toys made from recycled wood
My interest in entrepreneurship emerged naturally from my involvement in education and community work. While organizing STEM activities, I noticed a recurring challenge: many schools lacked affordable, hands-on learning materials that could spark curiosity in young students. This observation led to the creation of STEM4GOOD, a social enterprise I founded to bridge that gap.
STEM4GOOD produces STEM educational toys made from recycled wood for children aged 5–11. Rather than treating the project purely as a business, I approached it as a learning ecosystem-designing products, managing sales through school fairs and community events, and reinvesting all profits back into education. Through the sale of 300+ toy sets, the project raised 24 million VND, which was used to establish three STEM learning corners at underprivileged primary schools.
This experience reshaped my understanding of entrepreneurship. I learned that sustainable impact is not driven by scale alone, but by intentional design-where financial viability supports long-term educational access and community growth.
