Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing Initiative: Empathy-Driven Leadership in Inclusive Technology Education
My most transformative leadership experience emerged from founding A Bit Club, an initiative serving deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Recognizing that meaningful leadership requires empathy, I spent six months learning Vietnamese Sign Language to communicate directly with the community.
Through nationwide workshops, partnerships with specialized schools, and collaboration with deaf associations, A Bit Club empowered over 500 learners with digital literacy, AI tools, and practical technology skills. Supporting students with scholarships, hearing aids, and educational devices reinforced my belief that leadership is most powerful when it removes barriers rather than creates hierarchies.
